Clear skies and calm winds overnight has allowed temperatures to fall below freezing across the area early this morning. Temperatures across the Virginia Piedmont and areas of Maryland east of Interstate 95 will remain in the upper 20s and lower 30s through sunrise... before warming above freezing by 800 am EST.
