High pressure will build in from the west this afternoon and then weaken as it moves offshore on Saturday. Low pressure with an associated frontal system will then approach, and will affect the region Saturday night into Sunday morning. The low pressure is expected to deepen rapidly over Canadian Maritimes from Sunday night into Monday. High pressure will build into the mid-Atlantic area for Monday night into Tuesday.
